There is some debate in our household about who sits on the loo longest. Conventional wisdom holds that the male members of our family are the winners on that front, but I think this is a case of selective perception. We see what we want to see.
And what I want to see when I'm on the loo is something diverting and entertaining on the walls.

I'm not a huge fan of using other people's loos, but nature calls right? And when it does, what better way to relieve the tension of your guests than by having a personal anecdote in front of them, distracting them from what's going on.
We've found that 100% of our customers who have one of our artworks in their loo end up chatting about the item with the guest/s who have used the facility. It's a great re-icebreaker and a fantastic way to reveal something human about yourself.
You don't necessarily have to choose a topic like this one about a near-death experience. It can be about how you met your other half, an amusing anecdote that has marked your life, or even a summary of things you're most proud of.
